Today, there is no phone on the planet that can go toe to toe with the Samsung Galaxy S3. It is by far the most badass smartphone on the planet.
The S3 sports the highly touted Qualcomm Dual-Core 1.5 GHz S4 Chipset that will definitely fulfill your need for speed. The European version boasts a quad core chipset that many say produces a negligible speed difference from its American counterpart. The U.S. version also sports 2 GB of Ram versus the European model’s 1. It comes stock with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and is loaded with several proprietary applications that Samsung has added to make the phone more attractive. Its screen is a 4.8 inch Super Amoled HD Display that is wonderfully clear, but not quite as bright as it needs to be. This makes the screen difficult to see in bright sunlight. The S3 is one of the first phones on the market to use Cornings’s Gorilla Glass 2. It’s virtually impervious to scratches. The 8MP Zero Lag Camera takes good picture, but really is nothing special.
Several of my favorite features of this phone are the fact that it has a removable battery and a micro SD slot. It makes it easy to expand the phones 16GB on board memory all the way up to 64GB. You have the freedom to decide what you need.
Samsung made the phone available on all U.S. carriers within just weeks of its launch. My AT&T model works on the GSM/GPRS/EDGE, HSPA+, and of course the super fast LTE Network. It achieved download speeds as fast as 22.80 Mbps and 9.04 Mbps up. Smoking fast! For new contracts on most carriers the S3 is price from $199.99 to $249 for the 32GB model.
If you’re looking for a phone that is sure to remain one of the top phones through the end of the year, the Samsung Galaxy S3 most definitely fits the bill. It is the benchmark for phones to come.
